The New Mexico Naloxone Training & Distribution Hubs are funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and administered by the New Mexico Health Care Authority’s Behavioral Health Services Division to prevent opioid overdose-related deaths and unintentional overdoses throughout New Mexico.

What is Naloxone?
Naloxone is a life-saving medication that reverses an opioid overdoses while having little to no effect on an individual of opioids are bot present in their system. Naloxone works by reversing the toxic effects of the overdose.
